Oh Meg - they are funny to watch!! When Lizzie is really tired, she runs to Dylan for grooming and snuggling, which he is always happy to provide. :) BUT- he will NOT tolerate one bit of silliness like batting his tail or playing with his paws, etc. For that, he will smack her (or Robbie) a good one! Only the calmest and best behavior is tolerated by Uncle Dylan!!! Emily is pretty much the same way - tolerates only sleepy, sweet kittens. Eliot is good for anything:D

I would love to have Dylan at my house. Poor Abner...he is afraid of his own shadow...so with G&G he is just beside himslef. He does not hiss or spit but he just has this look on his face like "What ARE YOU....PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE".

I took some more pictures last night and it was sooo funny. Abner was under the bed frame (we have a captain's bed with the drawers underneath so the mattres sticks out more than the frame) well Abner was under the overhand to the bed with the bedskirt hiding most of him....except his tail...which of course was twiching a little....well Gabe thought it was the greatest thing....Abner did not. He bolted to the lower level.

Tell Dylan to send Abner some of his patience.

Dylan has transistioned beautifully to the role of "big brother", Debbie! :) I think that is wonderful!!!!! :D The pictures are adorable.

Thanks everyone! Meg - I just wanted to offer you some sympathy with poor Abbey!:) Just give him time. Emily was also very distressed with the babies and went into hiding until she discovered her "niche". She just did NOT know wjat to think of them and seemed to wish they would disappear but they did not so SHE disappeared for a while:rolleyes:
Abner will come around:D In fact, I bet he might even take on the Eliot role of playmate:D

Sounds like Meg's Abner is a lot like my Ripley. He's afraid of everything, even the kittens, and will run from them if they get too close. The only cat he's not afraid of is Jazz.

All I have to say is that CAN'T be Lizzie! She's so big now!
