I'm really mad about this.

Since I'm sick today, I can't hold my precious guinea pig Milli as much as I want too. I'm afraid I'll give her my sickness. Do you think she'll be okay if I hold her? I'm not sure...

Uhh... I don't think your guinea pig will get sick from you lol...

hmm... you can give your piggie your sickness... but only if its like the flu... if its just a cold I think she'll be ok.:)

I've heard guinea pigs catch the same deseases as humans, that's why they use them in scientific research.

Guinea pigs can catch a cold from you, but I'm not sure about a sore throat. Just wash your hands a lot and you should be able to pet her. Hope you feel better!

Oh, my breeder told me to never hold a guinea pig if you have a head cold because when she did this, she lost two guinea pigs :( . I don't mean to scare you; just take caution.

I know that ferrets can catch your cold, sore throat, flu from you.

If you are wearing long sleeves, put on some gloves and you can hold her and pet her. Just don't breathe near her face.
