Wish me luck!

Today at work my favorite manager (the only person in that store that I like) told me that she put in her two weeks notice. This means I'm getting bumped to to store manager, sounds good right? The problem is they only want to pay me an extra .50 cents an hour! They must be kidding themselves!

I'd have to worry everyone morning about a bakery order, milk order and well as all the other ordering plus deal with all the horrible employees that the company hires. The problem is that despite everything I really love the job, I love the people I meet and the converstations I have.

So today right after my shift ended I applied at Starbucks. They pay much better and offer their employees benifits. I talked to my old roommate who works there and she said she would try to pull some strings for me. So wish me luck! Hopefully I get a call back soon and get hired. I'd still be doing what I like, only now I'll actually get a better pay check and treated better as an employee.
