I've been giving him 1/2 tablet of L-Lysine with breakfast AND dinner, as well as taking him up once or twice a night and turning on the shower as hot as possible for steam. He *still* has a cold. I know it's got to run it's course, but he's still wheezing... isn't there *anything* I can do for him? I feel bad for the poor little guy.
I'd call the vet for some stronger meds.
2 weeks for a cold seems like to long.. I would have him back to the vet to see what is going on!

My Sammi had a cold when we first brought him home but I can't remember how long he had it for. I believe it was quite a while and might have even been two weeks. He wasn't on any meds thought...it just ran it's course.
He's just fine now and hasn't had one since.
I ,too would call the Vet,to do another test,to see,if it is more,tahn a cold! And the Found Cats,and I,are praying,that taht is all,that it is!
