hmmm do you guys think this crate is too small for Remy? just got it and he loves to lay down in it but standing up looks really bad....what do you think?

Do you have a picture of him standing up in it?

It does look like it is a tight fit. Could you exchange it for the next size up?

Hmmm, looks just about right but it's hard to tell from the photo. The pup should be able to comfortably stand with good head room, turn around easily and lay down comfortably, but it shouldn't be much bigger than that, especially when you're using the crate for training purposes. Yup, definitely too small; it looks like he has to crouch standing up. Like Aly said, most places will let you exchange the crate, if you have the box, receipt, etc.

ya i think its too small he has to duck his head when he stands-although when he is int there he sleeps.. hmmmm

WAY too small. Poor Remy.

It looks to me like one more size up would be more comfortable for him, just so he is able to lift his head a bit more, and maybe stretch out a tad more laying down.

i spoiled smokey w/ his house crate but when we had to move across country i bought the travel crate too small & they almost didn't let him fly!
my advice -- get it a size bigger than you want to.
