An Update On Beans (+ pictures)

Thought it was about time I write one. My princess was diagnosed with a heart disease in April (left heart valve doesn’t close) and was only given maximum 2 months to live, but guess what…she’s still with me :)

She went in for another check-up Thursday, and I’d been feeling horrible for a week prior to that, because I had been prepared by the vet that this might be it, as she suspected Beans might have fluids in the lungs and abdomen.

…but no, Beans has all the vets and specialists fooled :)

She’s gained almost 700 grams/25 oz., her colors are fine, blood flow (to her brain) is fine, her eyes are bright and her coat is thick and shiny, and most important, the heart medicine works very well and she plays and keeps the other 4 in check.
In fact things are going so well, the vet said, she won’t need a check-up for another 6 months (up until now it’s been every 2 months).

I luhhhh my Beans…and she knows it, and I’m so happy she’s so strong, I get to keep her with me http://www.addis-welt.de/smilie/smilie/liebe/151.gif

Beans is adorable:D I especially love the first picture. Glad to here she is doing good.

She is a beautiful girl. I believe she has a little guardian angel watching over her.

What a wonderful report. I'm delighted for you both. I will keep her health in my prayers, however.

By the way, she looks like a real charmer!

OMG!! She looks WONDERFUL!!!! I have always thought Beans was beautiful. I'm so glad to hear the fantastic health report. I know you must feel so much better to know that she is doing so well. Prayers are still being said for the gorgeous Beans. Thanks for the new pictures and the great update!:D

Beans is BEAUTIFUL!! I am so glad she is doing better and you can relax a bit with the worring.. Just goes to show what wonderful care you are giving her and what love and prayers can do!

Beans sure is one terrific looking cat! I think next to orangies, that spotted cats are my favorites (like Emily and like Beans:D ) I am SO HAPPY to hear that she is proving the doctors to be wrong in their predictions and happy that you still are enjoying time with your pretty girl!!
