A poem I wrote for Remus

I thought of this petting him at lunch...

Furry Creature

He wanders round with an air of royalty
Demanding worship
Deserving of everything lavished and more
Luxury to him is simply some affection
He has never known so much before
He is loved and he is praised
For being nothing more than what he is
And when I wake up and hear his breath
Mingled with the purring in his sleep
I know that everything will be all right

He wanders round with so much curiosity
Wonder for the world will never cease
His eyes search for adventure
And no moment is ever dull
I have never known so much happiness
Than when I see his golden eyes, I know
I am loved
For being nothing more that what I am
It is a joy to be a subject
Of another beings unconditional love

Thumbs up!!! I can totally relate. Do you ever wonder how you ever got along before you had a cat in your home? I wanted one for soooooo long before I got my girl, and she is the light of my life. When she looks at me and gives me one of those 'I love you' slow eye blinks....I melt...just like buttah!

It shows just how special Remus is to you in all your posts....I am so happy that you got him.

Sometimes I get really depressed with work and stuff and he just comes up and gives me a headbumpie and its all ok! :) Im so happy I got him too! (Even when he is being a nawtee kat lol)
