Andrea, I'm sure Summer was the best dog ever! Do you have any pictures of her or a little story to tell about her?

Summer was a pure bred german shepard. I have pictures of her all over my room! She was 6 years old wen she died. We had to build a new fence and so we had my grandpa and grandma to take care of her but she got out of the yard. I dont blame her. She wanted to come home. Then while she was crossing the street. It happend. I rode my bike all over town and then when we went to the san pedro pound, i saw a book that sed DOGS on it. My dad sed not to touch it but my instincts were getting the best of me. I found a description of Summer, and I talkd to the manager about that dog. She said that dog was in a pet emergency hospital because that dog had got hit by a car. We went to the hospital and there she was. She had broken two legs, and a damaged spine. They had to put her down. But I thank God everyday that I followed my instincts and looked in that book and found my baby. And I did see her before she was put down, but i just wish I could have had her longer

Awwww... but youre so lucky that you found her in time,, she knew you were there and I am sure she felt so much more comfort in her last moments,,,,,

Andrea, I'm so sorry for the loss of dear Summer. It's a good thing that you were there to see Summer off to the RB. RIP Summer and romp and play happy. Look out for Toshie. He will share his most treasured tennis balls with you.

I'm SO sorry about Summer!! I remember when my last Border collie died, and it was SOOO hard!! I miss him SO very much, but Blaze is a great companion too. Again, I'm so very sorry! :(
