Mysty's New Mommy
Hey guys! I'm at Mom's and doing this for her. Mom's Mom (my Grandma) is in town and wanted Mysty. Mom agreed so Grandma is going to take Mysty home. We extracted promises of regular pictures!!! Here is Mysty with her new mommy. There were 4 other people in the room and Mysty chose to go to Grandma. They spent quite a bit of time playing and cuddling!!!

Congrats to your grandmother. Just from the few minutes I saw her at Kim's I could tell she was a sweetie. I know your grandma will love her very much.
I'm glad you got picture promses! I hope to see Mysty grow up.:)

I have been over at Carol's house for about 2 hours now and Mysty only has eyes for Grandma! I feel really good and happy about this though know Carol will miss her. Grandma's husband has been gone for 20 years and grandma has talked about wanting a pet but never the right one. There is no doubt that Mysty chose her and I can already see the happiness she is bringing to grandma. This kitty will be SPOILED. She has already said she worries that she should not have a pet because she might die first - but of course Carol assures her that at that time, Mysty will return to Ohio again.
Carol's sister lives nearby in Wisconsin and will help with her care and Carol is paying for Mysty's upkeep.
Anyway - just wanted to say I think this is the sweetest relationship forming already :) Mysty's personality is very calm and laid back for a kitten. Besides, Mysty has her mind made up

I adore when a cat picks her fur-ever home. Looks like Mysty's a great picker, too!

That is so precious that it brought tears to my eyes. Mysty is such a little sweetheart.

That is the sweetest thing ever.
It reminds me of my cat, Scampers, who has chose to have 2 homes. My neighbor, Margaret, is 83 years old and Scampers adopted her. Scampers likes to visit Margaret's house and even pushes her way inside sometimes. We buy Scampers food and take it to Margaret's house where she has a bowl. She does come home everyday to see us and she eats here too, but then it's back to Margaret's house. Margaret loves Scampers so much, they are the best of friends.
