Sirrahbed -beginning our trip home and Sunday night

Whew!! What an adventure! We had three wonderful stops and visited three dear PT friends:D Now, armed with three tiny kittens, we headed northbound.
The crate was in the backseat - and sometimes they all slept (the hammock was WONDERFUL and they loved it!!)

Most of the time, I left two in the crate and held one baby at a time on my lap so everyone had snuggle with a purrson time. About an hour down the road - I saw that Robbie had just done his main business, thought it would then be a good time to take him out, so I reached in a grabbed him. Well...apparently he wasn't..uh...quite done. I found myself spattered with poo. Shirt, jeans, arms, seatbelt, his feet, his bum etc. PEEE UUUU A dozen wetwipes later we settled in for a snuggle. Oh well, I have been covered in worse.:rolleyes:

Dennis was getting pretty tired after about 3 hours and it had been a long day already so we found a motel that allowed the kittens with a cash deposit and settled in for the night. I had a WONDERFUL and very welcome shower after cleaning out the kitten's crate and also sink washing the stinky bums.
Lizzie then enjoyed some pillow time with her daddy..

After a good night of sleep, we drove on home:) It was a busy afternoon and evening as we unloaded, settled the babies into their guestroom in our guest bathroom, unpacked. I needed Misha time and Christine need kitten time so we traded babies for awhile.

Then, I had a Bible study in the evening so it was quite late before I could get to PT - only to discover that my camera would not upload!! I finally corrected the problem and went to bed.ZZZZ. While I was away for the evening, Dennis's job was to finish assuring the resident cats that they were still well loved and to play with the kittens and tire them out. He obviously did his job well!!

We allowed the cats to peek in the bathroom at the crated kittens. Surprisingly, Emily and Eliot seemed very cordial and curious! Dylan - who is always my laid back and easy going fella was TICKED!! He hissed, growled and then started in after Emily and Eliot too. Even when Dennis tried to pet him, he bit and hissed at Dennis. Poor boy was so upset that he hid under the bed the whole time I was gone!! More on THAT later.

They are in the crate while the door is open so the residents can sniff and get to know them. At other times, we are letting them play with toys and run freely with the door closed, sometimes with one or both of us inside. It is HARD to get pictures because they move so fast! I can't count how any pictures I have a of an empty scrathing post!!!...silly digital delay misses the cutest pictures.

Yay!!! I've been waiting for you to post about your trip!!! So exciting! They sound like 2 little stinkers! Kim has really spoiled them for you!!! They're so adorable and looks like they're very happy in their new home so far. I can't wait to hear updates about the other cats' reactions to them.

I met a fluffy kitty last week near the pub and I fell in love with her - a black fluffy kitty .... mmmmm.. But she was someone's pet.
