Sophie's whiskers are black at the base, and white at the tips! They were not like that when we got her. Do you all think they'll all turn black eventually?
I attached a full-size picture, so you all can see when I am talking about in greater detail.
Anyone else's cat's whiskers like that?

How cool. I have no idea if they will turn all black but it would be neat if they stayed two toned.
None of mine have whiskers like that but Scout has all white whiskers except for one lone black one that grew in this summer.
Don Juan's whiskers are dark brown at the base, creamy white the rest of the length. He sometimes grows one that's half brown-half white.

Pouncer's are like that too... about half and inch of black and then pure white the rest of the whisker. I always wondered how he could grow a two-toned set ofwhiskers.
I don't know if they will turn or if she will stay two toned but she sure is darn cute!! :D
My Marshmallow's whiskers are just like that... but so is most of her hair! That's what gives her the shaded look.
Now,those as my Dear Mother,was fond,of saying,are The Cats Whiskers!
