Have you ever seen a cat hold its tail so far forward? This cat almost always folds its tail forward like this.

Silly Jewel! I've never seen anything like that! Wonder if it was broken at some point, and now it is like that as a result? Its pretty at any rate.
RB Brighteyes did that a lot. It is something you don't see too much in cats. Maybe she thinks she is part dog?
NOPERS! Never seen a kitty do that before.
Guess Jewel is just showing her different purr-sonality.
That is really weird . . . she's such a pretty girl!!! She looks very confident in her beauty with her tail held that high!!! :)
My Chipper holds his tail forward at times also, but not as forward as what Jewels does with her tail. That is awesome and she is a very pretty girl.
Amy hold her tail like that a LOT... The vet checked her back and tail real good the first time he saw her. There is a defect in the spine (I think he said) that causes them to hold that tail up like that. He felt up her spine and said he didn't feel that defect on Amy so he Xrayed her and it didn't show up in that either... Hers has to do with her Neroulogical disorder he decided.
My Abigail has a tail that curls up and around like a pig's tail. I'll try to get a picture of it. And it's always been that way.
What a cool tail! She looks like she might be part dog! I think it's cute.:D
WE love the way, that Jewel holds her tail,as we love our Friend Jewel, lot, hes is a Graet Partee Cat!
My sister's boy Gnocchi holds his tail like that, folded over his back. He is a gray kitty, too. He's never had an injury; he just has always held it that way.
She is beautiful!!!
Jazz will hold her tail like that sometimes. My other two always have their tails straight out or even dragging almost but Jazz hold that tail high and sometimes curled up her back like that. I've noticed she does it less with age.
Pippin's tail does this - we get even more curlies in it when its chow time! Our vet had no clue why, but thought it was very cute!
Maybe there's some Husky in the blood?:D
forgot to attach his photo:eek:
OMG - that's almost exactly like Abby's tail!! Her's is just a smidgen tighter curl, though.Quote:
