Happy New Year precioius Clancy!! I just can't resist those beautiful labbie faces! Especially in the puppy mode! :) And Clancy, your brindle coloring is SO unique! I'll bet you've grown into the most handsome of boys! And 100% pure lab in personality! Loving, sweet, devoted and ready to play at the drop of a ball! :D It sounds like your very adoring forever family accomodates your every need, (as they should!!) "rain or shine!" Though, I can't imagine a "cloudy" day with the joyful, bright and sunny, snuggly and lovable Clancy around! I think you would make a wonderful therapy dog when you grow up Clancy; a service I hold very near and dear to me! Now you go and have the best, happiest day as you celebrate your very, very special honor as our New Year's Day Dog of the Day!! Congratulations and Happy New Year from me and my labbie girl Star!

clancy, congrats on being "new years'dog of the day!!!!" you are a beautiful fur kid...i also love that brindle coloring...unusual for a lab...but so beautiful...maybe your pet humans will supply pics of you all grown up!!!!! you will be a great service dog...what great expression you have!!!!! :) ;) :D

:) Hi! I only just discovered this part of the site. Clancy is now 2; and the center of our family's life!

She would rather play ball than do anything--inlcuding eating. If she hears the word "ball" in any form (including if we spell it out) she goes into her alert mode and melts your resistance with those brown eyes. (At the moment, we refer to them as "chartreuse orbs" if we need to refer to them without alerting the dog!)

She is not the world's best, or smartest, or prettiest, or most cuddly, or loving dog; but she is the best for our family!

Our family does geocaching; and she heads our team nicely. We like choosing hikes where she can be off leash--she loves to run.

If you want to know what she looks like now; check out Duncan from 7/13! It is uncanny--he could be her brother (although he is of no relation to her!)
