Probably trauma from a littermates nail or could be anything.
It shrivels up when their young like that.

and sometimes crashes into things or other cats.LOL

Well, alls well that ends well, and you are now like me. door is locked. no more. Sigh. It is so hard but there is only so much space and so much money and so much tolerance from the others....
