They both try to EAT the bristles off their brushes! Doesn't matter what kind of brush I use, and it doesn't matter if I'm trying to brush them with it or not. Guess they like the feeling of the bristles in their mouths. Both of them do it, whether they're together or not. This has been going on with the both of them ever since we got them.

Anyone else's cats like to chew on their brushes?
For a minute there I thought you were talking about their toothbrushes :D :D I tried to brush Max's teeth years ago and almost lost a hand. :eek:
Speckles does not like brushing at all and when I try she usually bites at the bristles and runs away. I use a comb on Max.
Katie loves to bite the bristles on her brush, only when I brush her cheeks.
We now use two brushes. One brush we hold by the face so she can rub and chew and the other we use for the actual brushing. For Abby, this second brush is one of those new ones will rubber bristles and she doesn't like to chew on it.

my mischief loves to be brushed, if hes sleeping and i hit the brush on something he will awaken and see the brush he will run toward me, he loves the bristles on his head and also tries to eat them lol
I'm using a rubber brush on Fister, he loves to rub his nose on it, and he loves to have his behind brushed too! :D He often calls me to come and brush him. :)
