Meet my kitty, Schatzi!

Schatzi is a a little over a year old. I adopted her from a shelter here in Germany, when she was 4 mnths old. She was sick the day I met her, and I wasn't sure if I should adopt her or not. But I felt so sad seeing how sickly she looked and couldn't help but take her home with me. She was very timid at first but she is has finally warmed up to us. Her and my 2 yr old Black lab, Jasmine, love to wrestle with one another. I'm not too sure who wins, but its very entertaining to watch. They are both pretty gentle with one another, even while playing roughly. Schatzi loves to walk by Jasmine while she is standing and nuzzle Jasmine's chin! She also gets along with our other dog, Buddy. But he tends to nap a lot so he misses out on all the action.

What a pretty girl Schatzi is!! She looks very content in that photo. I love her eyes. I'm so glad that she and Jasmine get along! I was worried about that when I finally decided to add a dog to my family...how the cats and dog would get along. Isn't it great when they do! :)
