Few harvest pictures (4)
Just thought I'd share a few garden harvest pictures for those who have kept up with the adventures of my garden this summer ;).
Onions anyone?

The weather has been so cool this summer that a lot of the garden is lagging or seems stunted so I'm not sure how we'll do on the hot weather crops like peppers and tomatoes. There have has been a lot of 65-70 degree days all through August, and cool nights. It has almost felt like September the past month and a half. Odd summer. But we are still getting a few delicious things out of the garden and the bugs have been less this summer, last year at this time yellowjackets were all over the yard due to the apples falling on the ground, this year I have hardly seen any.
Hope you enjoyed!

I love your title, Jessica!! "Harvest Pictures" sounds so wonderful and I was not disappointed at all by your bountiful harvest!!!! YUMMY!!!!! :) I'm not an onion lover, but I do use them a lot in cooking, so I'd take a handful from you in heartbeat!!! Everything looks so fresh and delicious!!!!! :D Hope your tomatoes come through for you. Mine are long gone. Gardening in the south is different as usually the heat gets to the plants. We did have a lot of squash in June and early July, though, and thoroughly enjoyed it!!!

Ohhhhhhhh that looks sooooooo yummy! I need to hit the farmer's market this weekend.

Oh I wish I had the time for a garden!
I could live on raw veggies!!
Carrots...green beans... peas... cukes... green peppers..
When I was younger we always had a garden, and I would sit in the garden eating veggies all the time!
Your harvest looks WONDERFUL!!!!!!

wow! Those are great pictures! Everything looks delescious! :)

Thanks guys :)
Logan, we pretty much just use the onions for cooking too. David's planning to dry some to use later on. Next year we plan to grow some red onions though and I like those in salads or grilled vegie combos :).

Wow!!! Looks like you have a whole farm out there. ;)
I'm really enjoying your garden pictures...mostly because we're working on our garden a lot these days, and garden work is constantly on my mind!!! We're going to buy two new fruit trees this weekend, hopefully, to plant. Its starting to look lovely, and it is so much fun. I love working in the garden. :D Good exercise, and very rewarding too. ;)
I would like to see more than just 4 pictures though. :D
Ps. You NEED onions for cooking. :p

It looks like you have a good start on a stew there! LOL! How did your strawberry patch do this year? I remember the pictures your posted when you and hubby first planted them. Is it hard to keep the dogs out of the garden? :)

Sorry for adding more pictures to this thread, but I wanted to add this for Pam :)
The stawberries are done making berries for this year, we didn't get tons but we got a few, not bad for their first year in the ground! Here is the patch:
