What a beauty you are, Freckles the spaniel! I love Brittanies! When I was growing up, the people in the house behind us were both deaf, and they had a Brittany named Cassidy who served as their assistance dog! Every since then, I've looked at this breed as very smart and courageous!


(Funny coincidence: today's DOTD is a spaniel named Freckles, and I had a spaniel named Freckles; and yesterday's DOTD was a mostly-white dog name Boo, and I have a mostly-white dog named Boo..... almost eerie, no?)
