Well Jasper is home...
He has a stitch on each shoulder, and down lower, 3 on his chin, one on his back foot and a bunch where they removed the lump :(
He's crying a bit and I was wondering if I could give him a baby aspirin, and if so, if one is enough for his size.
I'm really depressed :( My mom was saying stuff about what are we going to do if he doesn't get better, and then we got home and my dad started :( :( :(

Glad your boy is home. I know it how heartbreaking it is to see him all stitched up and in some pain:( Try and be positive and take one day at a time until you hear more from the vet. How much does Jasper weigh? An adult dog, around 60 lbs. can take 1 adult aspirin which is 325 mg. per tablet. I think baby aspirin has 81mg. per tab. Why not call the vet and ask? I would think he could handle 2 baby aspirin, but best to ask and be sure. Give your sweet Jasper a hug for me. We're thinking of you and him.

I'm not giving up on him until Im satisfied with everything we tried, right now all we've did are alergy tests, tons of skin scrapes, and this biopsy.Quote:

I know there are still TONS of shampoos to try, diets, meds, and if none of that works, I'll need to save up $800 to send him to P.E.I as they have better tests avail. there, but Im not giving up, I'll work 2-3 jobs if needed

Aww..poor guy. :( I hope you find out what's wrong soon. It's so hard to sit back and watch our kids suffer.
I'd call the vet about the aspirin.. just cause he was probably given medication there and I'm not sure if it would mix well with the aspirin.
Awww... poor Jasper! My poor baby boy! He looks so pitiful in that E-collar. Try to stay positive, Robyn. Hopefully they'll turn up something in the biopsy that will give you a little more insight. Give him lots of kisses from me! All 52 Paws are pulling for him! Feel better Jasper!

Well the vet was closed when I posted, but hes been sleeping and also stopped whining, so Im hoping hes feeling better, Im going to call first thing tomorrow morning and ask about it just incase he starts to whine againQuote:
