Abner is all WET!!!!

Abbey loves to go outside in the rain and yesterday was no exception. It was raining quite hard yesterday afternoon, but he insisted that he wanted out. After about 30 minutes outside he was sitting under the umbrella outside and wanting to come in....he was sopping wet.

Our ritual when he is wet is that I tell him it is time to get "buffed" (dried off). He immediately runs upstairs to the bathroom where he sits and waits. Here he is all wet.

Abner!!! I can't decide which is more unique - the fact that you like the rain or the fact that you obey mommy and go upstairs to get dried off when asked :eek: . What a good, handsome boy you are.

Aww how cute! A sopping wet Abner! Does his fur get all curly when it's wet? Mishi's does and it's SO cute (had to give my big boy a sponge bath yesterday when he got his sticky meds all over his beautiful fur - it dried curly) :D

RedHedd...his hair does not curl when it is wet....it gets really long and straight. His tail gets really, really bushy when it's wet. I get such a good laugh with Abner getting wet....not only does he LOVE the rain, he will occasionally shower with me in the morning when I'm getting ready for work. I can actually pick him up and bring him right in the shower with me and he will just sit in my arms and get all wet.....SILLY ABNER!!!!!

Poor little guy - he thinks he has to go out in the pouring rain just to get meowmie in the bathromm for a buffing - he would be surprised to find out the he could easily skip that step and go straight to the bathroon and wait!!!

Abner, you really deserved this moment with mommy! :)

What a nutty boy you are Abner! I've seen very few water lovin' kitties, but it sure is cute how you rush to the bathroom to be towel dryed! What....no blow drying? No curling? Frosting? Manicure? What kind of beauty salon is this? :D :D :D

Abner, you are so goofy! I, too, have never heard of a cat that likes rain, especially one that likes it so much he wants to climb in the shower with you!! :eek:

But he sure is adorable running upstairs to the bathroom to be buffed and then snuggled. His tail is so poofy and he's just adorable on your shoulder.
