eye infection
I just got back from the vet's office -- for the last three days my cat Leon (a gorgeous 5 1/2 year old grey & white tabby cat) has been squinting in one eye. This eye was also runny, and had a yellow discharge. I was told by the vet that it's probably conjunctivitis ( ), and given eye drops (Neomycin and Polymyxin) to give him 2X/day for the next 10-14 days.
Anybody had a cat with a similar condition? I'm pretty sure he'll be fine -- his eye is already less squinty and the vet administered his first eye drops about two hours ago! -- but I'd love to hear from someone who had a similar experience with a good outcome. I'm a very nervous cat companion! :)
Best, Leon's Hypochrondriac Mom

Those triple Antibiotic ointments work great.
You should see results very soon, be sure to keep giving it for the whole course, as it can recur.
He'll be fine.
