Has anyone heard about this: satellite in Saturn's orbit

I am not really "into" space stuff. But this is so exciting. We have successfully (sp) put a satellite inbetween Saturn's rings... and it is sending back pictures!!!:D :eek:

I love this stuff!!! And thanks to my dear PT friend gini, I did hear about it, and see the fabulous photos! Amazing!!!:) I'll post the link in a bit.

I saw this stuff on the news last night. It's incredible :eek: Sometimes I don't feel comfortable with people prying into the mysteries of the solar system because that's what makes me appreciate it more. ;) But all in all it's very impressive. :D

I hear they're going to land some probes on one of it's moons.

The pictures I saw on MSNBC are amazing!!!!! :) Can't wait for your link, Sandra.

They said they launched this thing 7 years ago!!! That's how long it took to get there! The amazing thing is that it made it and didn't get hit by some "space junk" or something.
