I'm at a loss (pointless thread)

This is my second of two weeks without school work to do so I'm caught up at home and I'm caught up at work - as you can probably tell by all my postings lately. ;)

And now Terry is out of town tonight and tomorrow night so it's like I've got two evenings in a row with absolutely nothing to do! What in the world do I do to keep myself occupied? It's been so long since I've had this kind of time on my hands that I'm not sure what to do with myself. :rolleyes:

Of course I do have plenty of things I could do, like laundry, organize the pictures on my computer, backup and clean Terry's computer, clean, go for a bike ride, get my hair cut, go shopping, go for a walk, etc., but I think instead I'm going to just go home, grab my computer, put T & P in their new digs and relax in the backyard for awhile.

Sounds wonderful. :D

Isn't it Thursday yet? Then I could at least go to the bar too. ;)

I am feeling the same way!!!! Hubby's out of town, the girls are behaving wonderfully. I am all caught up wth work. I am afraid to admit that I'm actually BORED. Though I could still run the vaccum, toss in a load of laundry. But what fun is that?!?

I just came in from sitting outside myself....not really "by myself" since the Es were with me.....thanks to you I was able to be on Pettalk while sitting out there! Unfortunately, the skeeters seemed to like Pettalk too and drove me inside....

So now I suppose you're all wondering what I actually did with my free evening. It was way too exciting. ;)

First of all I put T & P in their new digs and then I brought out some of Terry's shorts that needed mending. Yes, you heard that right, I sewed patches on Terry's shorts, by hand no less! :eek: Now my finger is killing me because I don't know what happened to my thimble and it's hard pushing a needle through umpteen layers of blue jean material. And now you're wondering why in the world I patch Terry's shorts? Because he'll keep wearing them and not care where the holes are! :eek: I should just throw them away and buy him some new ones, but that would be about as bad as bringing another cat into the house. We'd be on the streets for sure! ;) :p

Then I came upstairs and remembered that our answering machine has been geeking out so I tried to fix it. Well....now it doesn't work at all. :rolleyes: So off to the store tomorrow to buy a new one...I guess...or do you think it's cheaper to get voice mail? I hate voice mail though and I'd really rather not pay SBC any more than I have to every month. Maybe we'll go back to being old fashioned and not have any way for anybody to leave us a message. Hmm....I kinda like that idea.:cool:

I've got one more load of laundry buzzing to be taken out of the dryer now, and then I'm ging to bed.

So how's that for an exciting evening! :o :( ;) :D
