Thanks for all the lovely birthday greetings. One thing is for sure, when you get to my age, you certainly know that another year has passed!
After a pleasant laid back morning with breakfast in bed (porridge!), Fister came up and purred a Happy Birthday and gave me a couple of good old full-force head-bumpies (he's going to give me a black eye or a nose bleed one of these days, he does it really hard!) :eek:
We decided that, in honor of the day we would take a picture of me HOLDING Fister.

How silly of us to think that that would be straight forward.
Please excuse the result, Fister may be quite tame now, but he definitely still doesn't like being lifted, as you can probably see from my strained expression (he was gone 2 seconds later). And that wasn't the first attempt! Oh well, at least it seldom leads to bloodshed nowadays.
Fister can't understand what all the fuss is about, I mean, it's only another soppy old human after all. He seems to forget the royal treatment he gets for his own birthdays. If I'd got any shrimps he would have been really jealous! :(
