I posted this in Dog General, but thought you guys could help too. My Dad and Stepmom's Bichon, Topper is pretty sick. He was bleeding overnight (they think form his bowels) and threw up and was lethargic this morning. They took him straight to the hospital and that's where he is now having tests done. Please say a prayer for him. We do love him very dearly. I hope it's something treatable. Poor Guy! I'm very worried for him.
Oh poor boy! :( I do hope the vets can treat him and he'll get well soon!
We're keeping fingers and paws crossed for him. :)
How terrible! Sounds like it could be a bowel obstruction or something ... wonder if he is one to eat strange things? Please keep us updated ... prayers coming Topper's way!!!:( ;)

Thanks guys! I just called my stepmom and she's still at the vet's! They are keeping him overnight and going to give him some shots in the morning of antibiotics. They are still checking the tests. He has had stomach problems in the past, so hopefully that's all it is. He's been through the ringer though. Once he got a tick which carried spotted rocky mountain fever (May not be the exact name) and he really almost didn't make it. Oh it was so awful. But also shows he's a survivor and fighter.
