Soda, Cracker, and... Popcorn?!

How did you get all the way to my house? :eek: ;)

Actually, I just made some popcorn and I was came to the computer. The birdies were with me and as I sat down I spilled some of the popcorn.

As I was bending down to get it, Soda dicovered the bowl!

I didn't really want to find any birdie "outings" in my popcorn, so they got their own bowl. :p

See that feather sticking out of Soda? I am not sure how it happened, but I am sure he just fell of a perch or something. Should I just let him deal with it, or should I pull it? Should I not do either of those?

In that first photo, Soda looks like he's smiling and saying heeheehee, as he sneaks a bit of popcorn!

It has been a long time since I have had birds, so I may be wrong about this, but if Soda is bothered by that little feather sticking out, I think he will pull it out himself. I would just observe him for a few days and see if he seems bothered by it or not.
But of course, that's just my guess. I'm sure others here will be able to give you more concrete advice.

In any case, just wanted to comment on how adorable these two are! :D

AWWWWW!!!!!!!! :D They're SO cute!!! Popcorn and Muffin also LOVE popcorn. Its their favorite treat! I make them unsalted/butter-free popcorn everyday. They just love it!

Great pics! I'll have to get some pics of my two eating popcorn some day. As to the feather, Popcorn and Muffin have had feathers stick out like that at times, and usually it just falls off by itself. I'm sure he'll handle it. Its a small feather so I doubt its a blood feather. Those are the feathers you'd need to worry about.....espcially if its bleeding.

About Soda's feather, it has already fallen, unless it went back into place.

Soda had a blood feather when we got him. They pulled it off right at the Pet Store. That's why the poor boy's wing was sore. It was sore for about 3-4 days.

It's been so long since I've had birds... Looking at those pics, it makes me think i need to start working on the gf for my b'day present. ;) They're adorable!

Soda & Cracker are adorable! I'm not sure if I have ever seen them before, but I'm somewhat new on the Pet side of the board. Soda's coloring is absolutely beautiful!
