Hi everyone - I called the Animal Shelter that Saint was taken to after his horrific home-declawing.
He is not with them now - he stays at the Vets. The gal said he is doing well, so far. He had gangrenous skin removed and both feet were cleaned up. On one foot, he lost all his toes. She said he would no doubt have reconstructive surgery at some point. She also said he is a great kitten.
I'm going to call again in a week or so - unless local TV does an update.
awww..how nice of you to check on him - and to let us know!! Poor lil fella.:(
I'm glad the kitten was at least found in time, and is being treated for his injuries. Thank you for the update, and keep us all posted. The one thing that really irks me about these stories that the media grabs ahold of, is the copy-cat maniacs that pull the same thing with another helpless baby out there. I wonder if "less attention" to the horrors may cut back on the incidents? :confused:
