Although he's been in hiding almost all weekend, Wilber does come out in the evening once he's sure we've stopped packing for a while. Look how sweet my baby is...

He is adorable! How sweet he is. It is so wonderful when a nervous kitty is so happy and relaxed with his family. You know then that he knows just how loved he is.
He is the prettiest color. He isn't really gray but more of a brighter silver color.

Wilber really is 2 different creatures with us vs. strangers or strange situations. He actually has an extremely outgoing personality around mom and pop, we call him Sir Meows-a-Lot . :p And he's SUCH a lovebug, turning into a true lap cat - sigh - I sure love him........And I think technically he's a blue tabby, at least that's what the Oper. Kindness people told us - they also gave him the name Wilber and we just let it stay, cause I also happen to be a big fan of Charlotte's Web. Same with Oreo, name courtesy of Op. Kindness, and well he does have a perfect creme filled tummy.
They do really good work. They take in both cats and dogs, no kill shelter of course. The volunteers are wonderful. The kitty section is lovely and I can see how a cat would be perfectly happy living out his or her days there, although a furrever home is always the ideal, but I just mean this is not a bad way to live. They have an outdoor enclosure for the cats, a huge room for the cats to play in, filled with all the toys a feline could want. Here's a link, just to spread the word on their good acts:

Cuddeling with Mommie and Daddy... That is SOoo sweet! I just experienced a cuddle session with Amy, who is not a snuggle bug. She got on the sofa with me and got UNDER the blanket.. I think it was more getting under there to warm up her hip/legs than to snuggle so I went ahead and took advantage of it and petted her. (This rainey weather we are having gets to her legs/hips.)
What a handsome boy you are Wilber. I just love tabbies and you are one gorgeous silver tabby for sure.
