Big kitty witty got hit by a f****ing car! he or she is one lucky non-house cat! You live in newton, you must have heard about the alleged wild cat up in Beverly not long ago- the police put out cameras with a fake dead deer to try to catch him on film (a mountain lion?). Never did. And now the whole hoop-la seems to be history. And there's supposedly a bear in Lynn Woods. And coyotes running the streets in broad daylight in Peabody! (I believe it!- we have been building and moving into their territory for so long now!) I'm in Ipswich so I am atuned to the trials and tribulations of wildlife knocked off by traffic and guns and what have you! (And I really didn't like today's news about a film or pic of an american soldiar shooting a camel in the head....Argh.).
A similar case happened here where a guy thought he was helping an injured dog and it turned out to be a coyote.
The woman was lucky and I hope the bobcat survives.
Unfortunately, the bobcat has died.
The Santa Cruz Sentinel has an update.
