My older cousin who lives in upstate ny is a vet tech (has been for 15+ years) anyways she got bit by a dog on Monday, woke up tues am to find red streaks all over. She has blood poisoning & is still hospitalized. She will be okay & should be released within a few more days. just a warning that it can still happen to the best of us. She even disenfected the area w/ iodine and it was only a small bite.
This is pretty rare but it is still out there.
