Happy 1st Gotcha Day Mitzi!

It was one year ago today that my little Mitzi waddled into my life. :)

I'll never forget the first time I saw her in purrson - I'd never seen such a round cat! :eek: :p

I fell in love with her sweet story on Petfinder. It was kind of hard to tell what she looked like in the small picture they had, except that she was very fluffy and had pretty markings. As I was looking for a small, fluffy girl kitty, she seemed perfect for me.

AnimalSavers had their pet transporter, Judy, deliver "Sweet Pea" to me at the Just Desserts on Church Street here in San Francisco. She quickly renamed herself Mitzi when I brought her home and she gave me one of her sweet little kitty high-fives with her big white mitts, accompanied by one of her oh-so-sweet squeaky meows.

I love my little girlie-girl and hope we have many more Gotcha-Day celebrations together!

Aww! Mitzi says thank you - and thanks Steffi for posting that belly pic :) Mitzi got some extra-special de-matting last night which she absolutely hated, but needed oh-so-very-badly! That fluffy tummy of her MATTS big-time and she HATES being brushed, combed or, even, belly-rubbed! She did get some extra treats and gentle hugs and then slept on her special spot on the sofa.

I MUST get some batteries for my digi-cam. I've taken a few more very ROUND Mitzi pics. The little girl is now on a reducing diet, but so far the only thing that's been reduced is the contents of my wallet! <sigh>
