knitting/good cause

Hello everyone,

I hope this is the right place to post this, excuse me if it is not.

This site just came to me through the grapevine, and if there are any other knitting fanatics out there, thought it might be a nice thing to pass on.

basically, this orginazation collects blankets to disperse to humane societies, and those who send in homemade ones can enter into a raffel for knitting prizes.

I just started knitting a while ago, so it's nice to be able to put all those old practice pieces to good use.

Again, I'm sorry if this doesn't belong here, but thought some might be interested in participating.

This is a GOOD place to post that info! We are already knitting, crocheting and sewing and this gives us another place to send our labors of love. Look here to see what we have been doing so far.:D

As a man , I am not a knitter , but could buy some blankies , or send some Cat Mice , as blankets would be too costly , to ship.
