first off:! the bedding!!!! i was searching the petco website and found this bedding... Bedding :) !!!click me!!! It looks SO COZY! but i was on a site a while back, and they said that this stuff is not good for hammies, because they can get tangles in it...? is this true? if so, maybe u can look around the site for a bedding that would be better for the hamster? here's the link to all the bedding <please look at the other link first :): Second like!! all of the bedding !!!click.. uh... I don't currently have any hamsters, but I use to. Now I have 3 mice. I've never used that bedding, I use Carefresh and I like that a lot.

First of all, fluffy bedding it a huge no no for hamsters! Hamsters like to stuff there cheeks, and if they stuff it with this they choke.
So do not use this stuff.
The type of bedding that You should use is aspen bedding. its the best kind to use. It sfae, and comfy for them.
As for cages I would get a 10 gallon aquarium with a lid. Its the safest. Wire cages can be good, but hamsters are escape artist and can chew through anything. So go with the aquarium.
