I once went to a "bridesmaids Ball" where you wear all your bridesmaids dresses and the ugliest wins a trip somewhere. I went wearing a dress my friend had given me... it was a designer original in the 60's and was UGLY. My friend pretended to not know me and trailed a few feet behind me the whole night - it was THAT ugly. On the way home, she said that I should have heard the comments everyone said as I passed them.:)
