We got Jack on April 2nd of last year. To celebrate this day, I took him to get a haircut today. Here he is before his haircut:

I still can't believe that it's been almost a year already! Where does the time go???:D
The funny thing was that last week while Carl was home, he bought a book on Airedales. After looking at it, he said Jack must not have come from a very good line of airedales because his ears didn't lay the way they should. Last night when he saw the pictures, he says 'wow, Jack does have the right ears for an airedale.' What a little hair can cover!!!
Jack hates being groomed. When I picked him up he wouldn't even look at me - it was like get me out of this place NOW! I tried to take his picture in the place and outside but he wouldn't hold still until I got him in the car. And he stopped being mad at me when I got him the ice cream - who says dogs aren't like people?;)

Kay, I will try to get some pictures of my other dogs but my mom is in the hospital in Tiffin about 40 miles from here so I will have to be spending part of my time over there. She is 84 years old and is in remission from cancer but had a terrible asthma attack and will be in the hospital for several days. Prayers needed!
