Anyone use Paint Shop Pro 8? Would you recommend it?

I'm thinking of buying it so I can make better sigs and do more with my photos. Is it worth it and is it easy to use? I don't know much about this stuff so I need easy but I want to be able to do a lot.

Is there a program that is better and more user friendly but still reasonably priced?

Right now all I have is Microsoft Picture IT! 2002 that came on my computer and I don't like it.

Personally, I like Paint Shop Pro 7 better than the newer version.

Do you have windows XP? When I look at the systems requirements for PSP 7 it doesn't have it listed. Do you know if it works with XP with no problems?

I have PSP 7 and Windows XP.

I haven't tried version 8, but I love PSP7.
