Todays cat, it says, has Manx Syndrome. Can anyone tell me exactly what that is? I've never heard of it. Thanks for any responses!

Per Elaine Wexler-Mitchell, DVM, who wrote The Complete Idiot's Guide to A Healthy Cat, Manx Snydrome is where a Manx is "born with malformations of nerves and spinal cord segments. One condition is called spina bifida, which is a defect in the closure of the vetebrae." Hope this helps answer your question.
