Peej and the Groomer

hi, i'm peej. tooday i haf to go get a baf and a hare cut. i hate it. mommy sed she will post piktures of mee wen i'm done. wen i go there, i cry a lot. if they touch mee i cry. i am a baby. :D

Oh Peej, don't cry. You are getting what a lot of people would pay good money for. A complete spa treatment. You get an all over body massage. A manicure AND a pedicure. You get your hair looking its best. You might even get a "mud pack" (hot oil treatment ;) )
Hope you enjoyed your day of special treatment and didn't think of it as punishment.

Ahhh Peejer, don't be scared! It's your day of beauty!:) And when you're all done, you're going to feel sooooooooo soft and silky and every inch of your precious body will feel pampered!:) You're probably home by now! Hopefully Mommy will post some pics of beautiful you!:) {{{HUGS}}}

When I picked him up they said they had a vet do a free checkup on the dogs sometimes. (This is at Petsmart because I haven't found a good "real" groomer yet) I didn't appreciate the unsolicited exam. Peej sees his vet and eye doctor regularly and didn't need another exam to scare him more than he already is when he goes in there. :mad:

So, what did this vet say? He said his eye was red. (Duh!) He said his ears are healthy. (Duh again) He said he has a skin tag on his right front paw. (Yep, sure does!) He said his weight is fine. ( :rolleyes: ) Gee, I needed someone to state the obvious.

I just wish they would've asked before subjecting my boy to an exam on top of the bath and haircut he got. :(

But anyway, he's home, and clean and smelling good. :D

Poor Peej! I think next time I would tell them forget the exam. If they get tiffy I'd go some where else.

Sweet PJ, I know you are just the most handsome Cocker Spaniel ever after your grooming session! Hey little friend, milk it for all it's worth with your mom, while you can!!!!! :p

He never told you that after we picked him up we went shopping for treats. We got some "Pup Corn" and some Liver Treats.

Oh, PJ, you do look spiffy, but just like Tucker, it is hard to get a picture with your *happy face*, isn't it? You did good at the groomer's though, 'cause you survived all that *torture* and still were able to fulfill your modeling responsibilities.

PJ is so very cute - he looks very much like my Jessie. I have two Cocker Spaniels (Dad and Son). Andy is a red cocker and is the dad (post a picture of both at another time I promise!) and everyone thinks he is a she and is the child! Jessie is buff like PJ.

PJ - My boys hate going to the spa too! But they love when they come home and their Dad and I make over them - give them great treats - and long walks when the weather allows! Andy loves to be brushed. Do you?
