You know, I've always said that when I retire I'm getting a dog, but seeing all these gorgeous birdie pics, I'm starting to think about a tiel, but I need to do a lot, and I mean a lot, of research regarding their lifespan (since I'll be 65....). Well, I've got 14 years to think about it.

Cockatiels can easily live 20-30 years, so most do live quite long..........but you will still be young at 65, and hopefully still have a long way to go........right? ;)
Beautiful birdie! I went over to the neighbors house down the street, for a little while today, (they have a trampoline, I LOVE trampolines!!) and they have a beautiful teil, I forget his name.
