I heard the news this morning. It made me so sad:( She was born in the White House 15 years ago, the puppy of Millie, the first Pres. Bush's beloved Springer. What a devoted and loving friend she was to the family those many years. She will be so very missed, by the Bush's, by doggie sibling Barney the Scottie and by the entire country. Rest in peace, dear, sweet Spot.

Yes I heard this too. It is very sad but Spotty had a wonderful 14 years. Gosh she was the envy of every dog in the US, being born with a silver spoon in her snout and all! ;)

Chris, forgive me for my ignorance, but does Prime Minister Blair have any furkids?

You know Pam, the article mentioned 14 years but all the news programs this morning said she was 15. Regardless, a very long and happy life for sure.

Pam, I don't know!! :o I don't remember there being any mention of the Blairs having pets and doing a quick search hasn't thown up any information of them owning any.
