Nervous Mother
My Baby Girl goes in Friday February 20th to be spayed.
I've had so many cats in my life spayed and neutered I can’t believe how nervous I am with my Baby Girl.
I think one reason that I'm so scared is that I haven’t had a female cat since I was a teenager. Been just a few years since then:p :D :p .
But boy, I am scared she will be upset with me. You should see when we trim her claws...
She screams to the high heavens as if we are torturing her. Starts to pant and once we are done she gets limp and acts as if she's injured.
She is quit the drama queen. So I hope she still loves me when she comes home. I hate that she has to stay in the vet over night.
My Baby Girl Kiko
:( still love me girl when it's all over.

I'm sure she will be just fine. It's just another excuse for you to spoil her to death!!! :D
Let us know how everything goes.

True
Yes that is true... Kiko gets a new toy about every weekend. Feathers seem to be her favorite ...
I'm debating the catnip.
Oh my girl ...

Anesthesia has improved drastically in the last few years, making it a much less risky surgery. Don't worry, she'll be thrilled to see you after a night at the vet's, even if she's a little out of it. :) :)

I understand your feelings about your baby. I had Tiny spayed Two months ago. I think I cried most of the time she was there at the vets! She is a puppy that can't take pain at all!
She had a few days of soreness after she got home. But she is feeling great now. The different thing about her now is she won't let me out of her sight!

Now, momma, it's not YOU who will be torturing the poor girl, it's them there nasty white-coats. You will be her heroine for "rescuing" her from that awful, awful place.
That said, I'm sure you're gonna have a lot harder time of it than she will. Have yourself a nice cup of cocoa after you drop her off, she'll be fine.
