What are you doing to train her? How do you react when she potties in the house? How tall is your fence? Is she crate trained? What is is her breed/age? Is she spayed?
It's very hard for anyone to answer your questions until you further explain the situation.
I just read your profile. Could you explain this?

I have 3 cats and I hade 3 dogs but they ran away togeather
my dog is six months old. she is a pure breed boxer.:). when she poops and pees i shake my head mand my finger and i say no.i use puppy pads. its a not that tall, but when i first got her she never did jump the fence.:( .but if i cant train her over the summer were going to get rid of her.because i still go to school and my dad works all day so were never home untill three or so. when i leave for school i just put her in my room not in a pin.
When do you tell her no? Is it only when you actually catch her in the act or whenever you happen to see the poop or pee on the floor?
well sometimes i see her and i say no right there and then. but when i dont see her i take her over to the spot where she pees or pooped and say no.
If you do not catch her in the act, do not tell her no! Bringing her over to the place it happened and telling her no will not do anything except frighten and confuse her.
When you catch her doing it quickly say "Outside!" and rush her outside. When she goes potty outside praise her and give her treats! If she goes in the house when you are not looking, just clean it up, there's no use getting angry. Keep a better watch on her so she won't be able to do it while you're not looking.
thanks so much but will she ever grow out of the habit of peeing and pooping in the house. and one more question is it bad if you get a large kennel when you are gone and putting her in there for 9 hours. but right now she does not have a kennel and romes around in my room.
How long have you had her? Did you get her when she was a tiny puppy? Most dogs will be house-trained by 6 months old, but it depends on the dog and the "training" that has been used to teach them.
Does she destroy things or pee/poop in your room while you are away? 9 hours seems like a pretty long time, but maybe it would work. However I wouldn't suggest just putting her in a kennel/crate and leaving her for 9 hours right away! You need to slowly adjust her to it.Quote:

Make the kennel ALWAYS a positive experience. Give her treats and toys in the kennel and praise her when she goes in there. Leave the door open at first, then try shutting it but stay there with her. If she's ok with that, try letting her stay in it for 10 minutes. Gradually increase the time until she is comfortable in her kennel. Most dogs actually enjoy their kennels, they are like a "den." Also before you leave her in there in the morning you should take her for a long walk so she's tired and will use the time to rest.
Are you talking maybe a 4 foot fence? When did she first start jumping it? Has she been spayed yet? For now I would suggest never leaving her in your yard unsupervised, and maybe attaching a long (20 foot or so) leash to her when you are out with her.Quote:

it is about a four foot fence. she is spayed.she started jumping it about three too four weeks later. i got her in november last year.;)
I'm glad she is spayed. :) A four foot fence would be pretty easy for a dog that size to jump. You'll have to keep her on a leash and supervise her to prevent that from happening.
There's also "invisible fence" systems that may work for your situation.
Has she been to any professional obedience training? A good Basic Obedience course will help you better understand how to train your dog.
i talked to my dad about the fence and he said we are probally going to get a invesible fence.:) . we are going to get a kennel and put her in their in the day. thank you so much for your help. :D . next time i have a question i will ask you!;)
wolf q gave great advice (like always:D )
another tip that may help you potty train her is to feed her on schedule, give her her meals at the same time everyday & take her out as often as possible. When you do take her out give her a command to go potty (i just say "go potty") &as soon as she goes outside PRAISE her with a really yummy treat.
Also make sure you clean the area in the house that she has pottied on with a cleaner made just for that, never use any amonia products to clean up messes like that & NEVER let her see you clean it up!
If you really try & be persistant she should be potty trained within a few weeks.
A obedience class will help you & her lots!
good luck
thank you so much for all your help. this summer im going to take her to obidence school. i cant right now because of school. but thank you so much for your help.:) :D
Why do people get dogs that they dont want to train or take care of... you are letting your dog control the house. get a crate and start training all over again.. the dog is going to pee in the house because she can smell her last pee. you need to take her out every hour until she goes and then praise her alot.... some dogs can take up to a year to house break.. and in you case, your going backwards.. so plan on another 6 months , if it happen sooner great...
I cant believe your talking about getting ride of her.. did you or yoiur family even look into what it takes to raise a dog. it not all fun unless you really love them..
also saying no or hitting a dog does nothing but make the dog afraid of you.. they dont understand the connection.
if you must give her away, call a rescue for boxers center..
next time get a stupid cat... you people dont deserve the love a dog can give......
