how many of us are vegaintarin's (sp?)

i was just wondering how many animal lovers are vegataryin's (sp?) i am not one ashamed to say but i would never kill a animal i couldn't too grosome (sp?) take care :)

Woops, I accidently voted no (thought the question was "are you a vegetarian" :o. My vote should be yes, I eat meat.

I eat chicken, turkey, and some fish usually. On a rare occasion I will eat a steak or hotdog. I never eat pork or hamburgers though. It's just something I've done for about 12 years. I don't do it for animals rights though, just for my own taste.

No meat for me! I have been a vegetarian for about 8 years now!

I eat meat - and I enjoy it. However, far more animals are slaughtered than we need, and a lot don't live under the best circumstances. :( If you look at nature, to my knowledge, animals only kill if they're hungry.

A friend of mine became vegatarian, just before Christmas, so that he wouldn't be able to eat turkey, and since he missed THAT, he figured he wouldn't go back to eating meat after Christmas. This was many years ago and he's still a vegetarian. :)

Yep, I eat meat. I just don't eat any that I have met. My rule, is if I have met it, I won't eat it.

Yes, from what I've read we are the only ones who kill "for fun/sport". I don't think it's fun or very sportive killing animals who are in their own place, not disrupting or disturbing anyone, we don't have the right to go into the forest and just shoot them down. It disgusts me when I see people driving on the highway with a moose, deer or whatever they killed tied to the roof of their car.

It's not a game, it's a life their taking.

Same here. I voted wrong. I eat meat, but have many friends who are vegetarians. :)

LOL I think this poll won't be really accurate. The subject question is different from the poll question and is throwing some of us off who didn't look close enough the first time :)

I don't think its accurate either..........because almost everyone said they eat meat, but then look at the votes. :o LOL!

I eat meat.............chicken, sheep, goat, beef, fish, etc, and have no plans on ever changing my diet.

(Unless all the cows get mad cow disease and the sheep get foot and mouth disease, and the chickens get this bird flu that's been going on in Asia; only then would I go vegetarian, and that would be by force..........but God forbid that ever happen). :p
