Sparkle

[color=royal blue]Sparkle is our 1-year-old shepherd mix. We got him as an 8-week-old puppy from the local shelter. His old owners had to give him away because they were moving to a place that didn't allow pets.
The first time I saw him he had been playing in the rain and was soaked. There was also a big sign on his cage that said "Adopted." You bet I was surprised when I found out my parents had adopted him!! I was a little sad too because I'd been hoping for a very cute Beagle/Sheltie girl at a shelter a day's drive away but we couldn't make the trip.
I've since grown to love Sparkle though more than almost anything else. He's a very good, smart dog though he does get a bit mischeivous sometimes. He's a beautiful boy and has been very healthy, well he used to get sick as a puppy after getting into stuff he shouldn't eat:p Other than that his only problem has been a few worms.

Sparkle is very cute and adorable pup... I´m glad that you (well your parents) adopted this dog...Nice story....

I'm so glad to see some pictures of your furfamily, they are all lovely. But I must say I'm partial to Sparkle. What a perfect name, she does sparkle!

Sparkle is beautiful!! And don't EVER worry about boring us, posting too many pictures, or anything like that. That is what Pet Talk is all about, and we don't get bored easy here! :D

Sparkle really reminds me of golden retriever and shepherd. He really has that golden expression, some of those pictures he reminded me of Daisy, a beautiful golden girl here at PT.
