It's been decided...

Well, we are definitely going to be getting a Doberman. :D:)

I'm bouncing off the walls right now I'm so excited. :p I want one right now...but we are for sure going to wait until we move out to California [unless we find that one "perfect" dog before ;)]. Josh and I are going to go look at some shelters tomorrow and Thursday...we contacted a couple that had some Dobies. I know it's going to kill me to go and look but not be able to take one [or all] home with me. :p It'll be rough...lol.

We are hoping to find a younger dog [preferably under a year], but obviously won't pass up the opportunity to take home an older dog if it "meshes" better with us and our lifestyle. I would also rather it be a female...but again, that is not my top priority. As long as the dog gets along well with Josh, Moose, and me. :)

Oh man, I'm freaking out right now...lol. :p:p

Im soooo glad that another Dobie is goin to be joining PT.....since im the only one...I think. Can't wait till you get ur new addition n' I bet it well be hard looking at all those ones that need homes too...:( Good Luck on finding the perfect one for yall.....their big sweethearts~!

You know I'd love to...I'll have to try and figure something out. She sounds like such a great girl.

I posted on the rescue thread that if you want her that I would be happy to arrange the transport to get her to you.

Oh my gosh, how exciting!! I'd be beside myself too! :D No matter what pup you end up with, I wanna see PICTURES asap!!

Mugsy, I'd love to...but I really would like to meet her first.

...and I'd hate to get her all the way down to Florida just to find out that she doesn't get along well with Moose, etc. Plus, I wouldn't want to have you transport her down here...and then move her to California with us in just a few months.

Ack...I really want to work this out, but I really don't want to move her around that much in that short of time. :(

I will be happy to help in any way I can. I'm sure that Angie can solve some puzzles for you if she knows the dog. As far as moving her a lot, she would adjust as long as she knew that she was loved and cared for.

Ack...I really don't know. Why does this have to be so hard? lol.

I don't want to get your [or anyone's] hopes up right now...I really don't know. Josh isn't home right now, but I'll have him come on and check this out when he gets back. I'm pretty impulsive when it comes to this kind of stuff...so I should probably step back and let him read this too. :p

Nope, your not the only dobe owner here. I have my blue rescue boy Pepper. And bnormal has 2 dobes I believe, but I haven't seen him post in ages, anyone know what happened to him?
