**My Snow Dog**

We are having a pretty good winter storm this evening. Katie is loving it. I think she would stay out there forever if I let her. After we played in the backyard for awhile we took off for a winter wonderland walk. It was beautiful. It was so quiet and peaceful. It was dark but the snow made it bright. At that time there was probably at least 4 inches on the ground. Katie was awesome looking prancing through the snow. I was trudging along and I definitely got my exercise in for the day. When we got home I was exhausted and looked like a giant snowman. Katie went right back outside to run a bit more. She finally came in and passed out. She is so cute!! I took a few pictures when we were in the backyard. They aren't the best quality but I'll post them anyway.

We are having a big storm here too, and the wind is really blowing. My puppers think that it is a *bit* to cold out to play!:D

AAAAWWWW! Katie is so pretty in the snow and I bet she hardly feels the cold with her plush furry coat! :) I love the action shot! Gosh I wish I had that kind of energy! :D It looks like you already have a nice amount of snow on the ground. Your storm is coming our way, and it's supposed to start snowing here very shortly. It sure is COLD out right now. I just let Bella and Ripley out and they both came right back in pronto with no fooling around! :D

Awww I just love Katie, since I have seen pictures of her I have started to like Akitas alot, that is probably a breed I will definatly have sometime in the future!!

Katie looks like she's having a great time! I love the snowflakes shot, looks like it was coming down pretty good there! We got a bit this morning too and off and on later in the day but not too much. It's plenty cold though!

Oh, I'm so envious! I wish I could live where it snowed. The few inches I got to see in Maryland just made me want more. Katie sure looks like she's enjoying it! And I love the one of her fluffy rear end. Too funny.

Thanks Everyone! Yes, Katie's coat keeps her very warm and she doesn't seem to mind the snowy cold weather at all. She even had to go out one more time late last night and did not want to come back in

KayAnn, I would love to see Simba and Nala's reaction to the cold weather and snow. That would be funny. You never know though they might completely surprise you and have a blast in it. Come for a visit and we will turn them loose with Katie out in the backyard and see what happens....lol ;)

Val, you keep saying you wish you lived some place where there was snow and my husband keeps saying he wants to move to Florida..hehehe. Me, I love the 4 seasons and couldn't imagine it any other way. I must admit though that before this first big snowfall I was ready for some warmer weather so I can get outside more with Katie. The snow has changed things though. I love it and Katie and I will be taking another winter wonderland walk today. Of course I have to layer up with my clothes and Katie just gets to go as is.

Those are great pics! :D Kia loves to do those mad sprints when it snows too. I think snow brings out the crazy dog in her. :D

I think Katie has the same allerigic reaction to snow that Sierra and Buddy do!!!
Ya know the one where there noses turn white as soon as they see snow and start to run around in it!! ;)
