I forgot Franklin's birthday!

Ack, I am a bad doggie mom. I just realized that Friday was Franklin's birthday! He's four years old now. My little guy is growing up so fast!:) Course he was already two when he arrived at my house!

This is my favorite pic of Franklin. He was trying to get me to chase him--one of his favorite games.

Franklin and his buddy, Preacher, were my first foster dogs and my first foster failures! Sorry for forgetting sweetie. Bones for everyone tonight!!

I have a couple small group shots somewhere, but none of all of them together. That would require valium for them and me!

What breed is Franklin? I'm assuming husky, but that smile on his face in both pictures looks totally shiba!!!!!! And there are shibas the same exact colors too!!!!

Franklin is what is known as an Alaskan Husky--a mutt bred to pull a sled. He comes from a local musher--well he took a long route to my house, but he was an accidental litter in a musher's yard. His mother is a husky mix and his father is an Inuit dog--according to what I've been told anyway.
