Mists Of Avalon

Hubby has been out of town since the 9th and returns on the 26th. I am still without a job and get really bored at home. More now especially since Andrew is away. So, I have been watching alot of movies.

I rented Mists of Avalon and watched it yesterday. Has anyone here seen it? It ia a great movie. I want to get it on DVD. I was wondering if it was based on a book because I would love to read it.

There is a book called 'The Mists of Avalon' by Marion Zimmer Bradley. :) There are also other books too I believe. I'm not sure if the movie was based off of any certain book.

I too love the movie. (Are you referring to the one starring Julianne Marguilies?)

I have never watched the movie but I've read the book in a situation of acute love trouble more than 25 years ago on a weekend when I was alone and felt lonely and wanted my head to be busy - so that's a really good book for situations like that:D
