We've got our eye set on one of the merles! :D If of course, Trixie doesn't do well with children. Looks like maybe they have some Catahoula in them!

Looking at what she has produce I would say Catahoula/Rott puppies.

I love new puppies, the one with the spots are the merles, right?
They are the cutest. Do you know yet if you are going to get to adopt one and maybe the mother?

She sure did have a lot of puppies, how many are there, I counted at least 10 or 11 or was I counting some twice?

Trixie looks like she has Pit or something similar to a Pit in her.

Its too hard to tell about the babies' father because they are so young. It will become more obvious in a couple months.

They're cute.

They all look so sweet together. I like the one that's blackest with just a little bit of gray. But, they're all cute. And Trixie looks like a good mother. Hopefully, she'll be ok with kids.

Awwww. Trixie looks so worn out in that pic too. Poor girl. 10 puppies! :eek: Bet she feels a lot better having all that weight out of her tummy.

I am going to call them in a little bit. Since we are in Eugene when we decide to take her or one of the pups they can bring them here to Eugene on one of Petsmarts adoption days, so we don't have to drive to Florence! :) So I will talk to them in a little bit and find out for sure what the dad is, as they know. ;)


Aly Trixie has Cattle dog in her, and I was leaning towards a little bit of American Bulldog. :) Pit would be nice too though.

Are you planning on taking the mommy or one of the puppies?

I would love to take the mom, but first we have to do intros with Dylan and see how things go, and see how she does with cats etc. If not, we plan on getting a puppy, especially if the presence of a big dog has negative effects on the cats. If we adopt another dog, we want to make sure it is the right one to every extent, so we are thoroughly thinking this through. :) There are a few holds on the pups and her already, so it's not certain whether we will be able to adopt her or not, but we are hoping.
