Roxy, you are lucky you are so darn cute! (pics)

Ok, I'll lay it on the table. I'm a big fat liar when I am sleeping. I am so lazy that I'll say whatever just to end the conversation.

With that being said...Last night, Mike was already in bed, and I fell asleep on the couch while David (Mike's friend that took Bullet) was playing video games. I got up to go to bed, and mumbled to just let himself out when he's ready to leave.

Then the conversation went something like this...
David: Do you want me to crate the dogs when I leave?
Tonya: No.
David: Doesn't Roxy chew stuff up?
Tonya: No.
David: Oh, you guys just let her roam the house now?
Tonya: Yeah.
David: Are you sure? I could have sworn she still thrashes stuff.
Tonya: No, she's fine.

At 3am, I woke up suddenly, realizing what I'd done. I got out of bed to check on the dogs.

Dusty was sleeping on the couch, which is not that big of a deal, but is a nono because they're really muddy from the rain. I gave Dusty some loves then tucked him in bed in the office.

And Roxy, bless her heart, was sleeping in her crate.

"Awww, Roxy...You are such a sweetheart. Good girl for tucking yourself in bed. Come here, love."

She stretches, yawns, and comes out of her crate...

What a silly girl that Roxey is--then she plays innocent and goes in her crate!!!!!

Oh, that is so cute. You just couldn't get mad at a face like that. I just get grouchy if someone tries to wake me.

Oooooh, it looks like what Nicki does when we don't put the trash can on the table or counter at night! She was never ever into the trash can until I moved in with my husband who's dog LOVED to get into the trash, and since then, the two of them would knock it over nightly. Sammy has since passed away and now Nicki continues the nightly raids.... so we now have a teeny tiny paper waste basket (so that its emptied at least nightly... and if we are too lazy to empty it, the can gets lifted onto the table.)

And Nicki has the same "I'm sorry" look asRoxy when you find the mes she's created! How can you be mad at them when they give you that look?

As for lies, thats me when you WAKE me... my husband has a habit of telling me about the day's schedule and whether I have to pick the kids up and when. I just say, "um-hum, sure, yep, uh-huh." And then my husband wonders why I wasn't at the school at 6:00 to pick my daughter up from swimming practice! After how many years of this, he still continues to discuss things with me in the morning, at least now he leaves me the Palm Pilot with all the info entered!:)

Wow!! What a mess!! Looks like Roxy helped herself to anything she wanted! He!He!He!:D

Just makes you want to give her a bug hug and smooch! How could anyone be mad at that face? Not possible. When mine get that look, I can't hold a stern look - I just disolve into a puddle.

LOL!! She took it all to her crate for a midnight snack! That's so funny :p

She certainly has a heart-melting "I'm sorry Mom" look. Give her a kiss for me :)
